My story

I'm Paloma, a passionate advocate for the holistic well-being of mothers. With a PhD in international tax law and over a decade of experience in teaching and conducting research at the university level, I found my true calling in nurturing the mind, body, and spirit of fellow moms. As a mother myself to two vibrant little girls, aged two and five, I intimately understand the joys and challenges that come with motherhood. For over 15 years, yoga has been my sanctuary. As a dedicated practitioner and qualified yoga teacher, I've witnessed its transformative power first-hand: when trying to conceive, during pregnancy and birth, but also right now when feeling disconnected from my body, battling constant irritation, and fighting deep exhaustion. Simultaneously, I've cultivated a strong interest in healthy nutrition, herbal medicine, and other holistic practices. My own journey led me to the following realization: amidst the responsibilities that come with motherhood, we must prioritize our own wellbeing and establish a robust support system so that we can show up as the best version of ourselves. This experience birthed the vision for Little Sanctuary—a safe haven where mothers can find support, community, and the tools to thrive.
