My story
I’m Paloma, a passionate advocate for the holistic well-being of mothers. With a PhD in international tax law and over a decade of experience in teaching and research at the university level, I eventually found my true calling in nurturing the mind, body, and spirit of fellow moms. As a mother to two vibrant little girls, aged three and six, I intimately understand the joys and challenges that come with motherhood.
For almost 20 years, yoga has been my sanctuary. As a dedicated practitioner and qualified yoga teacher, I’ve experienced its transformative power first-hand: when navigating thyroid issues, trying to conceive, during pregnancy and birth, and now in the daily realities of motherhood—moments of disconnection from my body, constant irritation, or deep exhaustion. Alongside yoga, I’ve cultivated a strong interest in nutrition, herbal medicine, and holistic practices, all of which have supported my journey.
This path led me to a core realization: amidst the responsibilities of motherhood, we must prioritize our own well-being and establish a strong support system to truly thrive. That vision inspired Little Sanctuary—a safe haven where mothers can find community, nourishment, and tools for resilience.
I am honored to serve as part of the Global Ambassadors Team of Yoga Gives Back, a charity empowering women and children in India through education and micro-loans. Their mission reflects my belief that mothers deserve more support, and 10% of all Little Sanctuary profits go directly to YGB.
