About Paloma Schwarz
Supporting mothers through the evolving journey of motherhood.

I’m Paloma Schwarz, founder of Little Sanctuary and a facilitator dedicated to supporting mothers as they navigate the profound personal and professional changes that accompany motherhood.

With a PhD in international tax law and more than a decade of experience in university teaching and research as well as professional advisory environments, I bring an evidence-informed and structured approach to maternal wellbeing and the complex transitions that unfold during this stage of life.

The transition into motherhood — sometimes described as matrescence — is one of the most significant developmental shifts in a woman’s life, shaping identity, wellbeing, and often professional trajectories. Yet many women navigate this transformation with little structured support, particularly when balancing the demands of family life and work.

My own journey into motherhood deepened my understanding of these dynamics. As a mother to two vibrant daughters, I have experienced first-hand both the joy and the challenges that accompany this phase of life.

For nearly twenty years, yoga has been a constant anchor for me. As a dedicated practitioner and qualified yoga teacher, I have experienced its transformative power during different life phases — while navigating thyroid issues, fertility challenges, pregnancy and birth, and the everyday realities of motherhood.

Alongside yoga, I developed a strong interest in nutrition, herbal medicine, and holistic health practices. Over time, this curiosity expanded into a broader exploration of personal development, psychology, and the ways in which individuals navigate periods of profound life change.

Today, my work integrates insights from wellbeing practices, self-development, and transition psychology. I combine embodied techniques that support nervous system regulation with reflective and coaching-based tools that help women gain clarity, strengthen resilience, and navigate the evolving realities of motherhood and professional life.

These insights ultimately inspired me to create Little Sanctuary in 2024— a platform offering programs, workshops, and retreats designed to support mothers in building resilience, clarity, and sustainable wellbeing.

Today, I work with both individuals and organisations, facilitating workshops and programs that support mothers during pregnancy, early parenthood, and the transition back to professional life. My work combines evidence-informed education on maternal transitions with practical stress-regulation tools, structured reflection, and peer dialogue designed for modern professional environments.

To further deepen this work, I am currently completing professional coach training accredited by the International Coaching Federation (ICF), strengthening my ability to support women navigating complex life and career transitions.
