Welcome to Day 6 of our Self-Care Advent Calendar!

Today, you'll experience the soothing practice of Yoga Nidra—a deeply restorative technique often referred to as "yogic sleep." This practice combines guided meditation and relaxation techniques, helping you release tension and cultivate inner calm.

During the session, you'll relax in a lying position as Emmalene guides you through progressive stages of awareness, focusing on your body, breath, and mental imagery. This process fosters a unique state of consciousness, balancing wakefulness and sleep. While your body enjoys deep rest, your mind remains alert and centered.

Yoga Nidra offers numerous benefits, including stress reduction, improved sleep quality, and enhanced emotional well-being. Best of all, it's accessible to everyone—no physical exertion required.

So, put on a warm pullover and socks, have a blanket handy to cover yourself (as body temperature tends to drop), and place a cushion under your head to gently tuck your chin.
